Ozarkgal
I am getting a new bow this year for christmas and I would like some input on some bows. My draw length is 26 and lbs is 40. And I would like either a mathews or hoyt.
JimT
Re: Mathews or Hoyt Either will work. I shoot Hoyt bows but have shot a few Mathews that I would own also. Did I really just say that? lol....Shoot a bunch and decide for yourself. Do not let anyone pressure you one way or the other.
archerjg
Re: Mathews or Hoyt Shoot them both and find which one fits you better. Archerjg
Chrud
Re: Mathews or Hoyt Both are great. Right now, I'm thinking about trading my XTEC for a new Mathews. I'm not a big fan of the new Hoyt designs. Try something like the Mathews Mustang or Hoyt SierraTec.
snapper
Re: Mathews or Hoyt If I were to pick just between those two...I'd buy a Reflex! Its basically a Hoyt, made by Hoyt and is half the cost. I wouldn't however just limit my choices to those two companies...there are alot of good bows on the market these days. hoyt19
Re: Mathews or Hoyt Only someone that is stupid enough to vote for John Kerry would buy a Mathews bow, I own a Hoyt Xtec and a Supertec. I would stay away from Hoyt low brace height bows if you are a beginner though, they tend to be a little harder to shoot than ones with higher brace height. Guest Delta_Hunter
Re: Mathews or Hoyt I shoot Mathews (lx). Good hunting partner shoots Hoyt. We disagree but both have good luck with our bows. I like the single cam design but you need to test them for yourself. I also have another good friend who has a bow tech and loves it. He used to shoot Hoyt.
Ohiobucks
Re: Mathews or Hoyt Love my Hoyt, but I know my buddy loves his Mathews. Shoot them both and decide from there, don't let any of us dummies influence you just on our preference......
Rut-Nut
Re: Mathews or Hoyt Hoyt or Mathews? My answer is: DARTON VAPOR- as someone said- IT picked ME! But then again, I've been known to vote Third Party in the past!
