Guest TheNumber1Young1 Posted September 30, 2005 Report Share Posted September 30, 2005 Ok, so im so excited about waking up at 445 in the morning tomorrow, (i aint even excited about waking up at 630 for school) but newayz, i found a new spot to hunt its a creek bottom, and i will be in the tree tomorrow for 14 hours! thats right i said it 14 hours....from 530-730, will anyone else be sitting in the stand all day? I know its the begining of the season and were all excited and energized to get that buck, but i would save my energy now for a few more weeks when colder weather arrives and more mid day movement will occur. I have had a history of hunting hard early season then when things are getting good I slightly loose interest and are not out there when I really should be. I'm good for the 1st 3 hours and the last 3 hours of the day for now. I'll save my enery for when the rut gets closer and when cooler weather is the norm instead of the exception.
