I don't know JB. It was my first time using one of them pop-ups. After having those deer pass me at about 10 ft last night, I figured it might be a good idea.

I don't imagine it would throw your shot off. I'd be willing to give it a try to find out though. Maybe even set up the block target and put a few starter holes in it...LOL.

I shot that pheasant through the small shoot-through. But, it was awefully close ...LOL. It couldn't have gotten any closer unless it lifted the blind and came in with me.. grin.gif

Thanks JB...much appreciated.

I was looking at their accessory window packages at their web-site, and they aren't that expensive (unless of course your Canadian...LOL)

Anyway..I wasn't too sure which model number I have. Couldn't find one. All it says is "Multi-Season, Doghouse Pack-in Blind".

Re: WTB - Large Mesh Velcro Windows \"Doghouse\"

I have the penthouse and I have shot two deer thru them with no issues. I haven't tried it thru the clear plastic windows yet but I plan on trying them this weekend due to where I have the blind set up. The scent will be an issue there so I need all the scent control I can get.

Thank you very much JB. I have a few other members checking things out for me. I might have a line on some.

Anyway, I took some pics this morning and some measurements

This blind sure is lacking in breakup camo isn't it. I think I'm going to paint it myself for next year grin.gif

One of the things I did to mine (and I talked to Ameristep about it) was to spray mine down with Thompson's water seal. It helps protect it and makes it last longer. You will have to let it air out for a few days but once it drys it doesn't have any smell but it will darken the pattern. Looking at yours it looks dark already so it wouldn't change much.
