It's all over til winter!

Well, the temps have been dipping down below the freezing mark at night here now, so that means it's time to put the outboard away for the season. You definetly don't want a water line freezing... crazy.gif Ya never know though, maybe if it's nice this weekend I'll pull it out of the shed and use it for the weekend. I just can't get enough of this fall bass, walleye and pike fishing! grin.gifcool.gif

Yeah, it wasn't very fun knowing that I can't fish til we get ice on the lake. Oh well, the boat is still on the beach, so I might throw the motor on for the weekend. wink.gif

Well I went out in the canoe on sunday night, ended up getting two smallmouth in about 20 minutes! The first one wasn't that big, about 2 1/4 pounds, but the second one weighed in at 3 3/4 pounds, now that thing was a fighter! Especially in the canoe! He could have pulled me to shore if he went in the right direction! crazy.gifgrin.gif

bulldawg, nope I don't think I made a post about that. I do have a spot out on the lake that I call "pickeral peaks" which is a few underwater islands that come up from 80' to about 23'. Its about 2 1/2 miles from the shore where I am though. And the boats are put away for the season. I know though, this would be a great time to catch them! wink.gif
