[/ QUOTE ] We take part in a DMAP PROGRAM, and we are issued about 30 doe tags a year. We count deeer for a prolonged period of time, then the totals are sent in to the Wildlife Dept., and they use some formula to tell us how many deer we need to take. During the period of Jan. 1 - Jan. 15, 2006, harvest is limited to antlerless deer only. Deer taken by hunters participating in archery season are included in the hunter’s combined season limit. It was by far the most successful single outing in my hunting career....that also turned into the most gutting and manual labor of any one single day hunting. I had to load, clean and hang all three alone, and now I can honestly say that it will be a while until I attempt to take that many deer in a single day.
