muggs
Re: Bow question? you're gonna open a huge can of worms on this one bud, my advice would be to get one that's comfortable, in your price range, and one that you can shoot accurately. No need to spend a month's salary to shoot the same bow the pros get paid to shoot. As for accessories, you'll need a sight, a release, some arrowsn, tips and heads, and I'd recommend limb savers and a stabilizer.
Guest lostiniowa
Re: Bow question? I will only recomend one accesory and that is a Muzzy Zero Effect rest. it is a great drop away rest and there is no way to foul up no matter how you draw your bow back. Also I just bought a tru glo sight with one of those little lights and I shoot it just as goo as my copper john and it was 29.00 as opposed to 150.00 gl
Guest BuckMaster058
Re: Bow question? Thank you Muggs! I guess asking what bow would you get would start a can of worms. But everyone has their opinion and that is what I want to hear. Just keep it clean and don't bash what others think is the best. Please I would really like to hear from more of you's. hutchies
Re: Bow question? The Troyhy Taker Shakey Hunter fall away rest is also a great rest. You won't be let down. Copper John makes some greats sights for a reasonable amount of money. Definately put a set of Limbsavers and a stabilizer on. You can buy an S-coil stabilizer for $15. I love mine and would not reccommend anything to you that I wouldn't put on my own bow.
hutchies
Re: Bow question? Whatever bow feels best in your hands. Most all bow these days are more than enough to get a pass thru on a deer and are very accurate.
brain
Re: Bow question? get as good a bow as you can afford but make sure you get it through a bow shop that has good customer service.this will aid you the most setting up the bow and with any problems you might have down the line. jbeck
Re: Bow question? You can get a great hunting bow for under $400. As for the rest, keep it simple. Any sight is fine, def use a stabalizer and wrist sling. The biggest thing is learning to shoot properly. Good luck and welcome to the fold.
