Who To Believe?

Who is to believe with the number of electoral votes?

MSNBC says Bush has 269, including Ohio, but no Nevada. CNN says Bush has 254, with Nevada, but no Ohio.

I wish these news networks all used the same numbers! If you go with MSNBC, Bush has won (voted in by Senate at least). But, CNN is going with the provisionals and overseas votes, which can't be counted for 10 days.

Everyone is saying Kerry should just give up, he would need ALL the provisional votes and ALL the overseas votes to overtake Bush in Ohio.

All I know is that it sure looks like George W. Bush is a 2-term President! grin.gif

Re: Who To Believe?

Different networks still have different numbers. Ohio is the key. Seems some netowrks are just not coming to grasp with the numbers just yet, maybe as a precaution.

No doubt that there will not be enough legitimate provisional ballots in Ohio for kerry to make up the difference. It is over. Bush won.

Re: Who To Believe?

Remember, most of what came out last night was each networks projected finishing order. I mean, 10 seconds after California closed they predicted Kerry. I mean, no surprise there, thats why I hate exit polls and all this other junk they come up with. Fox News was the first to declare Bush the winner(no surprise there either) while CNN was being more cautious in their analysis of Ohio, Fox News went ahead and called it.

Re: Who To Believe?

I was flipping thru and happened to stop on CBS. I usually don't watch Dan Rather (lying SOB). But, I did last night. It was funny watching him try to figure the numbers in such a way Kerry would win. Not simply reporting the news but rather trying to change it - at least in his own mind.

Re: Who To Believe?

They were all going over different scenarios, they have to have something to talk about over the endless hours of coverage. Well, if Kerry wins here , here and here and Bush wins here, here and here then this is what will happen, and vice versa. It's good to look at different scenarios, even though every state went basically the same as it did in 2000, you just never know.

That's why I don't watch those idiots. Until later at night when they have more data all they do is try to influance what they can and they don't know anymore than you or I. I suppose it's good for their egos!

Did Dan squeeze his eyes and fists real tight and keep repeating I wish.......I wish ............I wish also?

Personally I think he is such a pompous a$$ I can't stand to see him.
