Hoyt03 Posted October 5, 2005 Report Share Posted October 5, 2005 Put doe #2 down tonight. 24yr shot went in high lung and came out right on the other shoulder. Deer went roughly 40yrds after shot. you guys have seen enough doe pics so didnt take one. Already have her quartered up and in the fridge. On a side note my buddy who was in a tree about 50 yards from me put down a dandy doe tonight. His only ran maybe 50-60 yards after shot. Slightly lower hit but must have ripped out bottom of both lungs, one heck of a blood trail. It was defintely a good night for seeing deer, they didnt come out until last light though.
