Bow Hunter Derek
Re: dog names? Dude, not trying to pick on you. Heaven knows that my dog's name was not my first choice, my girl's picked that one. However, DO NOT name your dog after a SERIOUS viral disease in dogs! Run a Google search on "parvo" and you'll see what I mean.

Guest Xen
Re: dog names? well, my wife said no to parvo, she gave the whole disease excuse, said it would jinx the dog. she liked the name Jack better, so i started thinking about it... i like Jack Daniels whiskey, he hops around after the cats like a little Jack-Rabbit, and if he is being stubborn, i can call him a Jack-***. the "off" command could be a little weird if i used his name first

waterfowler_gal
Re: dog names? I am planning on getting one pup possibly two lab pups this spring. My girl will be either Grace or Bell and my boy will be Brixx or Drake. It is always fun to pick out names ahead of time but then again it is nice to see the dog and actually get a feel for their personaility first. Good luck. Just be original and creative. Stay away from names that start with "S" or any similar words with your commands you are using. Try and keep it under 2 syllables. Let us know what you decide.
