Re: dog names?

well, my wife said no to parvo, she gave the whole disease excuse, said it would jinx the dog. she liked the name Jack better, so i started thinking about it... i like Jack Daniels whiskey, he hops around after the cats like a little Jack-Rabbit, and if he is being stubborn, i can call him a Jack-***. the "off" command could be a little weird if i used his name first blush.gifcrazy.gif

Re: dog names?

I am planning on getting one pup possibly two lab pups this spring. My girl will be either Grace or Bell and my boy will be Brixx or Drake. It is always fun to pick out names ahead of time but then again it is nice to see the dog and actually get a feel for their personaility first. smile.gif Good luck. Just be original and creative. Stay away from names that start with "S" or any similar words with your commands you are using. Try and keep it under 2 syllables. Let us know what you decide. smile.gif

Re: dog names?

Had to give my big basett-bloodhound mix a big/lazy/southern name: Buford. He's basically a yard ornament. LOL

Zeke, Scotch, Bullet and Scout are all good names to me.

Jack is a good name........it's what I named my son. grin.gif

Re: dog names?

Got 4 labs right now and a shorthair. the two female labs names are tess and molly. the males names are bo and woodie. The shorthair name is rizzo. I always have a hard time figuring out names as well. Named my one dog woodie after the wood duck that is what we call them here. Alot of guys name there dog drake but way to common around here to use it.
