After being shot at 2 days ago last night I setup in an area I would not think there was in way someone on a 4 wheeler could get in. Some idiot was crashing trees and drove up to within 20 yards of me. I stood up took my hat and facemask off and started yelling at him. He busted that badboy in reverse and took off but I heard which way he came from so I ran to cut him off. I was so mad 245 lb. me hurdled a fence. Hit the opening right about the time he came flying by. I was screaming at him the whole time but now I know where he lives cause I listened to him drive his quad out and shut if off right where some houses are. I am going to get some t-posts today and I found his trail. There is gonna be a nice fat sign that read "No tresspassing and that means you". I almost ecpect that to happen to me on the public land but that is why I drive the 7-8 hours back to oklahoma to hunt a couple of times, because I know that will not happen. Sounds like you need to have a short cool down period and go talk to this guy face to face. Be civil about it and if you can't, take a little longer cool down period until you can. I'd still put up the t-posts and sign too so anymore pain in the rear tresspassers will get the message too. Put up those "No Tresspassing " signs up and carry a camera with you when you hunt, let the law handle this issue and maybe you can have some peace and quiet and get a chance to see some deer and maybe take one. Well since I live here by the lake I am gonna go hunt Corp of Engineer land tonight and if any idiots come thru I have the Corp and Game warden on Speed dial. The deer are thick down by the lake right now cause persimmons are falling and water is easy to get to. Plus that is the only area that not many people are hunting right now. We have never had this problem before or we were just never in there at the right time. Once we get the signs up them I will notify the game warden of our boundaries and what is happening and if they come back it'll be on like donkey kong. Just glad I have lost those 35 lbs in the last 3 months or I would not have cleared it at all. Need to loose about 20 more and I might catch him next time.
