Texan_Til_I_Die
Well, the exit polls were grossly inaccurate - again. What do you think: Just a mistake from the pollsters (made up of major media people)? or A deliberate attempt to influence the election towards Sen. Kerry? slugshooter
Re: Exit Polls I don't think it's either one, I think it's a combination of only polling a certain amount of people and the fact that a lot of people might not have been honest when polled. johnf
Re: Exit Polls I heard a theory last night that many conservatives hold thight to that "secret ballet" thing and don't talk to the pollsters. I wouldn't have if asked.

markyj987
Re: Exit Polls Exit polls were never really intended to indicate who the winner would be. That's the first issue..they were merely designed to try to better understand why people voted the way they did. Since they're not designed for dclaring winners, it's no surprise to me when they're wrong.
horst
Re: Exit Polls I was watching the Daily show the other night and I think he said it pretty good, Exit polls are a way to get some quick numbers that arent all that accurate.Fox news yesterday said they knew something wasnt right early on in the election night, it looked like an abnormally high percentage of females being polled to start with. You could poll one group of people, males, females, gays, blacks, whites, whatever and more or less make the numbers look any way you want to by polling them more than another group IMO, I didnt pay any attention to any of the Exit polls anyway and actually didnt know what they were talking about when they started talking about them.
