superguide Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 Re: Official Boston Bruins thread It was an awesome night-CBC was there filming and were supposed to be shown on 'Hockey Night in Canada'-I'll let you know when-there was 250 people with flash cards spelled out 'Meadow Lake is Hockeyville-Bring the Game Home.'. They had the local dog from the outdoor rink-he retrieves pucks shot over the boards for the kids-he was playing shinny with five kids while the filming was going on. My daughters novice coach won coach of the year-and my buddies Mom and Dad got the honourary lifetime pass-put four boys through our minor hockey system-one played in the NHL-right now they have 5 grandsons and one granddaughter playing and three sons coaching here. The night ended up with a Midget game where the boys that were done with minor hockey were recognized. Superguide Jr. got to play with some of his older buddies one last time-he played 'D' so his buds could play forward their last game-picked up a nice assist. My daughter starts her league finals tomorrow so she's a pumped 8 year old. Minor Hockey gave away 4-500 old sweaters tonight and she got a couple of her brothers old #15's. [/ QUOTE ] Are you sure about that Shaun.....??? The Bruins were up 4-2 in the second and then the REFS do something I've never seen in hockey, in all of the years I've been watching it..... They give Toronto 3 that's right 3 5on3 powerplays that ran consecatively,, and gave Boyton 2 plus a 10 for mouthing off a little... Yep, you guessed it Toronto ties the game at 4 a piece... And who did they get for him? 3 below average players IMO. I mean come on man, they took them from Edmonton, no wonder they are below average. Bottom line is the Mgmt in Boston sucks. MOC needs canned and I still can't believe that Sullivan is still behind the bench. Did you see him last night, he was almost in tears.
