We took them to the field but it got pretty nasty this evening with the rain and wind and cold so we called it and brought them back and tomorrow they will just work in their work sections. A bunch of wimps if you ask me but they havn't been issued their cold weather gear yet and it was dipping in the low 30's. Then the linesman missed an offside and they beat us with THREEE seconds on the clock-ran the goalie on top of it. The joys of AA Bantam lol. I guess it didn't kill us so will only make us stronger. robk Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 Re: Official Boston Bruins thread well i have been a hockey fan and about 10 years ago i was still playing some hockey in some leagues and enjoying the idea of playing up into my 40's and having a great time coaching my kinds and being an official as well. well last season or the lack there of made me upset to say the least. i am not a football fan especially in the pros side of things andi watch some college football but can get very distracted and quick. seeing the nhl back in line and flying high i am so glad to see them here. i just wish new orleans had an nhl team instead of the hornets so we could have hockey in the nhl in our state but that is okay we still have cable tv and the nhl on tv is exciting to me lol. as for teams being from oklahoma we used to be both farm teams for the bruins and the stars when they were in minnesota and i cheered them on but over the years i have also been a senators and canuck fan and jari slegr was one of my favorite players in bc and in the early years my main man was derek sanderson who made the bruins a great team to watch. he knew how to make the game fun to watch. then the famed bad boys in philly broad street bullies gotta love that except for the cry baby bobby clark. what a whimp. now they have the maknigs of some great players but most all of the reams have one great player but then again they have some players you watch and wonder how they got there. again an opinion but i am glad the nhl is back rob k Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The guy was a diabetic and was captain of one of the toughest teams to ever lace up skates. Think you better stick to football-ohh yeah Sanderson had nice hair not much else lol.
