Tony
yep there i was in the tree with the recurve and it was a real parade of deer . i saw 16 total , but only 5 offered shots.. i had 3 does and 2 yearlings come in and it was just perfect. the lead doe was only 10 yards away. i slowly drew and when i released the shot went high over her back.. she jumped and couldnt figure out what happened. so when she was trying to determine what happened . i got another arrow and i missed her at 20 yards broadside.. ARRRRGGG this recurve stuff is hard.. i went into our local archery shop last night and made all good shots.. Hmmmm i need more practice.. i guess misses are a lot better than bad hits... anyways im still playing the recurve game for just another week and then out comes the Ultratec... that is if i have any arrows or broadheads left ... dartonman
Re: i missed last night , twice ! Tony, as a person of "detail" and perfection, hang the Hoyt up for "two" weeks....I think you will be in total bliss when you harvest one with a recurve....I know guys that stuck with it, as they are as persistant as you, and they are glad they did.......take some shots from the tree in the yard, and go get em.........I have faith your photo will be up in no time, or at least a good pic of the tree kills...take care buddy, good luck........al
