dogdoc
hey gruntin--welcome to the forum. Three things that come to mind are: 1) Your bow is still slightly out of tune. 2) Your arrow/broadheads are not tuned (spin test). 3) Your total arrow weight is not spined correctly for the poundage you are shooting. todd
buckee
Re: PLZ HELP ME! Welcome to the Realtree forums. I agree with dogdoc. What poundage are you pulling and what make and size arrows are you shooting ??
MrWiggely
Re: PLZ HELP ME! and check your fletching it may be out of shape, or ripped, or maybe just to short. A longer fletch can help stablize the arrow faster for better acuracy. Wigs
Guest madabouthuntin
Re: PLZ HELP ME! I have to agree with dogdoc as well. The one thing I question along the line of tuning the bow is how far away are you when you are paper tuning it? If you are to far away the arrow will have time to straighten and give you bullet holes. One thing you don't mention is how does it shoot with field points? I know you said about paper tuning it, but nothing about shooting with out the broad heads. Steve

Rayzorp
Re: PLZ HELP ME! This may way out, but I had the same problem with I first shot Muzzys. The broadhead would literally spin off the shaft. Just for kicks, I put some bow wax on the broadhead threads, tighten them and problem went away,, not saying this is your problem, just making a suggestion.. Good Luck Rayzor
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: PLZ HELP ME! I have heard the Crimson Talons come off during flight. This was a topic over at ArcheryTalk.com and they said to do what Rayzorp said, apply some bow max to the threads. Not sure if its because of the curved blades these heads have or not but they claim to be accurate but no broadhead is going to fly great if the tuning is off some. Try the bow wax on the threads and try tuning your bow. If your consistent to one side of the target then adjust your rest to compensate. Check your arrows to make sure you are shooting the correct ones for your set-up. Go to www.eastonarchery.com and look at their charts. Keep at it, there are no stupid questions, we are here to learn and offer advice, good luck and welcome aboard.
buckee
Re: PLZ HELP ME! You can give this a try. Sometimes it just takes a few tweeks to get things going right http://www.newarchery.com/tips/tip.asp?fID=3 Your getting some great tips here. I like that bow-wax on the threads of the broadheads tip. I think I'll try that one myself.
VTbowman
Re: PLZ HELP ME! What helical fletch do you have? Is it rotating the arrow the opposite way you thread your broadheads on? Altghough I have never seen this, a left helical can spin out tips, especially these heads with the twisting style blades in the opposite direction. Buckee- Thats Bow string wax not ear wax......
