Re: Muzzleloader buck fromlast night (PICS)

Thanks for all of the kind words everybody. Here is a pic of what he looked like before I shot him, notice the 181 inch rack doesn't look that big attached to his massive body. A few people have asked what he weighed and to be honest I know very few guys that weigh their deer up here but without stretching it I'd guess his live weight at well over 300 pounds.

Here is a front pic as well, with the shadows anf the camo it is hard to make everything out, he isn't very wide, actually under 17" but a wise man once told me, " that is just air". grin.gif

Now I'm just going to have to go out every now and then with a doe tag just to get my fix. My wife is real pelased as baby #2 is on the way in less than 2 weeks. Thanks again guys, good luck this season.

Nice job SaskMan, congratulations. Great live picture too, he sure is a tank. Kinda wishin' you were on my team, maybe you could take SuperGuide by the hand and show him where a big one is hiding out.LOL

SG, instead of helping SaskMan with his deer you should be shooting your own. Just kidding, thats what friends are for, nice that you could go and help him.

It was nice of Cory and Ty to come out and give me a hand, they're great people!! The first place I called when I got home was superguide's, he's a great guy and a great hunter but I'm glad he is the proud owner of his own land and hunting spots now b/c I kind of like hunting in the spots he used to skulk around in yrs ago. grin.gif

I just culled the smaller management bucks and left the hogs for Saskman-I'm thinking that little piece of heaven might possibly be the hottest spot in North America lol. I just have to get that little runt to go hunting mulies with me sometime lol. Our two wives are definately 'whitetail widows' lol.
