Strut10
My wife's friend came over today for a handgun tutorial. Seems she couldn't hit anything with her new Kel-Tec 9mm. It took me one shot to figure out why. That gun has the absolute worst trigger I've ever pulled in my life!!! My kid's capgun has a shorter, smoother pull.........no joke. So I let her shoot my Glock 27 and my wife's Taurus Titanium .38 and she was rockin' the target. She was on her way home to talk trade on a new gun. I wouldn't give a nickel for that Kel-Tec. It'd make a good looking paperweight, maybe.
Guest Xen
Re: Kel-Tec 9mm............. IMHO, the kel-tec 9mm is a horrible gun. my father-in-law bought 2 of them, the reasons he gave for buying them were that they are inexpensive and compact. that being said, my wife put 1 mag through it, put it down and said it hurt her hand to shoot it. i thought she was just being a girl, so i said well, shoot my .40 (styer s40) she put a full mag through it and said oh yeah, that's a lot better to shoot, it has an easier trigger pull and doesn't smack your hand. at this point i was very suspicious, so i put 3 shells into a mag and shot them through it... i put the gun down, turned to my father-in-law and said well, i'd try to return them, those things suck. he picked it up, loaded a full 10 rounds into the magazine, shot twice, removed the mag, cleared the shell and said, "they're must be something wrong with this one", then he put the mag into the other gun, shot once and said "ok, i learned an important lesson today... i'll never buy another kel-tec" i'm sure not all of their guns suck, and i usually try to find some good in everything and everyone, but i'm really having a hard time even saying that the cost is a good thing when you compare it to the quality of what you are getting. The Kel-Tec guns definately could use some improvements. hangunnr
