Guest Bowtecher
Hey, Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the barrel De-Resonator. The reason I ask is that I got a Ruger M77 in .300 WSM this spring that the previous owner hated. He swore it wouldn't group and after very few rounds was all too eager to ditch it cheap. Before I ever shot it I spent $15 and put the SIMS on my barrel. (They'd done wonders for my bow so I figured I'd give it a try). After a simple bore sighting, I had great grouping right where I wanted it. Rather than fool with a winning formula, I've left it, but wonder how much it actually helps. I'd love to hear if anyone else has tried one and if you've had similar results?
AJ
Re: SIMS Barrel De-Resonator Try the search tool. Just last month Idaho Elk Hunter made a post on them. You can read it by clicking here.
