unioncountyslayer
I have taken on a lease this year of just over 100 acres. The only problem for bowhunting is that there are no really good trees to hang a stand because there is a creek that surrounds the property and most of the acerage is in planted corn or soybean. I have several tripods for gun hunting, but a little unsure as to how to set up for bowhunting, any suggestions?

6sixpoint_nobrows
Re: Stand Placement ground blind or the tripod, if your allowed to bait deer, then buy a bag or corn and pur it out about 20 yards from the tripod, they'll come in to eat and you'll have a shot, also you dont have to be in a big tree for a treestand, last year i sat in a very very small diameter tree and it did just fine, i had a 16 pound treestand and the tree i was in was only about 6 or 7 inches wide..lol...it will hold trust me i was in the tree with 50 mile an hour winds and it didnt break...lol.good luck
