RangerClay
Re: Any feedback on this model? I wouldn't go over $100 if it were me. Remember you will have to tack on shipping to the price of that gun. There are so many nice ML's that will be on-sale in your $100 range right about now. Check your local Gander Mountain and see what they have to offer. Ranger
waterfowler_gal
Re: Any feedback on this model? Thanks RangerClay.. the only good thing is the dealer is in Minnesota. Any other suggestions for other types that are on sale? I try to stay away from Gander because they have really let me down this past year but if it is a good deal then I would def. consider... AaronS
Re: Any feedback on this model? You say it's an inline but the pic looks like a sidelock. Do you have a better pic? I would definitely go with an inline for your first ML because of ease of cleaning.
tedicast
Re: Any feedback on this model? definately not an inline. Take a look at Cabelas website. They have some inlines in the $150 range that seem like a pretty good deal.
HarvDog
Re: Any feedback on this model? It's definitely not an inline. It's a sidelock. I have a Traditions sidelock and really like it. I wouldn't go much over 100 bucks though.

I recently sold a CVA Optima and bought a CVA wolf at Wally World for around $125. Its not the best made but im happy with it for the money! It is also a Mag Rifle and a break over, in-line. Take a good look at them before you spend $100 on a sidelock!
Jeramie
Re: Any feedback on this model? Here is the wolf. It uses a 209 primer which is much better, imho, then the cap. The break over design makes for EASY cleaning. Here is a link to CVA's info page on the Wolf.

[/ QUOTE ] I have never bought a gun from GM myself but I have never heard a good thing about them. It was just a suggestion. I wish you were closer. Our local army navy store Herb Phillipsons has the CVA Wolf with a decent 3X9-40 scope on sale for $158. I'm kinda partial to the side locks myself so I hope you win your auction. Let us know how you make out. Ranger
