Guest generallee
I planted two 1/2 acre food plots this year. The one i planted in my ideal location has not done as well as my other due to lack of rain. My other plot has come in well but it does not look as though its getting hit hardly at all. I was thinking about using something like buck grub or something else that attracts deer throught their nose to help them find my plot and get them interested. Has anyone had any luck with buck grub or anything else similar to this product. Or any other opinions...
dogdoc
Re: what yall think?? general---they know it's there. When they need it they will hit it. Deer are creatures of habit and so when there is natural forage available they will (most of the time) use it before the food plots--even though the food plots are more nutritious for them. Wouldn't hurt to try the buck grub but I really don't think it will make them use your plot--until they are ready. todd
wtnhunt
Re: what yall think?? Still crops in here and the deer have not hit the plots all that hard yet. I know it is only a matter of time when all the farmers crops will be out and the deer will be searching for good food sources and finding and relying more on my plots.
