AJ
I have two of them. One in .243 Win and the other in .308 Win. The .308 Win is a great gun to carry as it is very lightweight. I have pillar bedded both of mine and floated the barrels. They will shoot MOA accuracy. Not great but more than good enough. I would not hesitate to take the .308 Win elk hunting. Mine will accompany me for any long hiking hunts in dark timber. When I hunt more open meadows and catch them before they get back to the dark timber, I take my bigger gun for longer range shots. If the shots are going to be under 250 yards, the Mod 7 will work just fine.
