Strut10
I just snagged a heckuva a buy on the donor rifle for my next project. I got me a Browning A-Bolt Stainless Stalker in .375 H&H that will soon become a .375 Weatherby. I'm giddy!!!!
Shaun_300
Re: OH, MAN!!!!!!!!!!! That sounds great, Strut! That is gonna be one heck of a nice gun. Good luck with the new project.
AJ
Re: OH, MAN!!!!!!!!!!! There ya go! Sounds like a winner. ARe you just going to rechamber it or are you getting a new barrel?
Strut10
Re: OH, MAN!!!!!!!!!!! As well as most of the A-Bolts seem to shoot right out of the box, I'm just going to have it re-chambered. It's going to be a hunting rifle (obviously). So 1-2 MOA will tickle me pink. AJ
Re: OH, MAN!!!!!!!!!!! I heard that. It should shoot Minute of Buffalo.
Guest Colorado Bob
Re: OH, MAN!!!!!!!!!!! Strut-----I've got the same gun. My question is why do you want to do that? You can hunt the big bears, cape buff, all the dangerous game with the 375 H&H. It's a time tested caliber. CB
Strut10
Re: OH, MAN!!!!!!!!!!! Bob........ Bigger, better, faster, more. It's the American way!! I just love big belted magnums that burn a half a hatful of powder every time you light one off. I need this gun like I need another hole in my head. But I won't sleep right 'til I get to light one in it.

iron buck
Re: OH, MAN!!!!!!!!!!! Hey Strut, Good to hear your project is moving along! I also have the same gun in 375 HH. It does not kick that bad. Especially for such a light gun. (7 lbs I think) I just put a Leupold M8 2.5x on mine. It will make an excellent PA bear gun..............or Alaskan bear gun..............or in my dreams African Cape Buffalo gun !
doubleA
Re: OH, MAN!!!!!!!!!!! Been shooting a Sako M75/Zeiss in 375, it weighs 9lbs 4ozs with scope and rings. I have found the recoil from this old round to be very managable...not bad at all. Life is good, Give God the Glory.....doubleA
