Don't hunt directly over the buck sign, but try to see where the deer trails lead to sign and set up just ahead of or behind where they are coming in. And with the slope being so great, try to anticipate which direction they will be traveling at what time of day and set up your stand so that the deer will be walking up the slope towards you. This way you will be much higher than the deer and avoid the risk of being busted.
