beagleboy
I have 23 acres in upstate NY and about 6 acres are fields (in the center of the property) Wondering what I can plant that will come up year after year without much maintenance. I live 2 hours away from the property and time is not on my side but I want to give the deer something palatable and filled with nutrients. Watering would also be a problem because of the location. Any suggestion?
wtnhunt
Re: What should I plant? Guessing you want a perenial plot. Would look at planting a clover mix. If you prep the soil right, maintaining does not require too much time, and you can have a 3-5 year life expectancy of the plot.
Guest stellfox
Re: What should I plant? Ditto. Our group doesn't have much time or resources either, but our clover does very well.
