Turkeygirl
Ok guys. I'm gonna get home from college early today and definitely go hunting. The rut is on, it is really cold so I think it will be a great night of hunting. The bad thing is rain is suppose to move in and I'm worried about having a deer come in for a great shot, making the shot and having it raining at the same time. I wouldn't want to immediately track the deer and risk pushing it but I wouldn't want to lose the blood trail either if I was to shoot a deer while it is raining. What do you guys think/suggest? I guess I'm hesitant since losing that deer on Sunday. Thanks everyone and good luck to you all!

Tominator
Re: What would you do yeah, i don't mind hunting in the rain, but it does narrow your shot selection down. i limit my shots to really close when it's raining, but i can't remember shooting a deer when it's been raining. i remember missing a deer when it was raining.
