VtBowhunter
Re: First accident of the year! Strytlr, I have put myself into the other persons shoes before, and I can honestly say that I would NEVER make that mistake. I know enough to identify my target before raising the weapon or drawing the bow. People get killed becuase other people are too stupid to do just that, and it makes me sick when others try to justify it as "an accident". There was a guy just this year killed here in Vermont when another guy thought he was a bear and shot him while he was picking berries. Guess what......the shooter is going to prison for it.......Thank God Vermont doesn't mess around with these "shooters" and we send them to jail where they belong. AJ
Re: First accident of the year! Good call VTBH! Strytlr, I don't see it any different than some idiot that drives drunk and smashes into an innocent victim. In both cases it was negligence not an accident. I am sure the drunk never thought "Hey, I'll get lit and go crash into someone." Put myself in the shoes of the offender? No way, I have common sence. And by the way, its not a privilege to hunt in my state, its a RIGHT. Virginia passed that law a while ago.
