Bow Hunter Derek
I shot a doe at 15 yards last year over the buck decoy. She and about 14 other does came right to it and fell in love with him. They would not leave it alone, even after I shot the one doe. I've also had several smaller bucks come in to it earlier in the year before they get to aggressive. I've not had a big boy come to it yet, but I think given time and the right set up, it will happen. For the money they are awesome decoys. Simple and light. I would never carry a full body into the field simply due to the bulk. I like the 2-D type decoys.
colescott1
Re: Renzos buck decoy? I agree. I have a 2-D Doe decoy, and had 3 bucks come down within 20 yards of it on Oct 1. They weren't drawn directly to it, but it did take their attention off my Brickhouse blind. Worked exactly as I had hoped.
