MuZZyMomentZ
Who all is in the know on this particular subject? I remember when I went snipe hunting for the first time... to think that they run through tin-horns under roads and you can catch em with a big paper sack... who knew?? lolol Since then I have taken many first timers snipe hunting and the results always seem to be the same. Them in the woods, shouting "GUYS?!!, WHERE ARE YOU?!!" Just interested if anyone has taken part in what I would call a tradition.
Master_Chief
Re: The Tradition of Snipe Hunting I have. I had a cousin from the city that we took on an all night trip. I was home early, but in trouble the following morning when he came walking in.

waterfowler_gal
Re: The Tradition of Snipe Hunting I do a summer youth waterfowl camp.. the last night of camp that is the biggest tradition... we use our walkie talkies and get the kids interested and get a "special permit" to band snipe... We video taped it too.. Good times at band camp-I mean waterfowl camp!

Tominator
Re: The Tradition of Snipe Hunting Never have intentionally been snipe hunting. I've seen them before down in some nearby drainage ditches. Usually as they're flying away I say to myself "hey! I think that was a snipe!" Then I keep walking looking for pheasant.
