huntrman
First off, I got my SOP Fastback harness today, and WOW is it nice. Ok to my question now. I got the harness and I got it a little big so it would fit nicely with all my camo on. I have run into a little problem. When I put the harness on and buckle the leg/groin straps, I have a lot of excess strap hanging. What do you guys do with this excess? Do you cut it off and burn the end with a lighter or do you tuck it in somewhere or something else? Looking for a tip or two on what to do with the excess strap, because I don't want it dragging the ground on the way to the stand.
MrWiggely
Re: Excess Harness Strap? I do exactly that. I trim it then melt the end to keep it from fraying. Wigs

huntrman
Re: Excess Harness Strap? I guess the best thing to do would be putting on layer after layer of your hunting clothes you would actually wear when it got real cold and then cut off the excess from that. tedicast
Re: Excess Harness Strap? I tuck mine in too. I wrap the excess from the leg stap around the legs, and the waist strp around the waist strap.
