Swamphunter
Maybe this is small but it is irritating...I hate it when you purchase something, and they never give you your positive rating. I always pay immed, with PayPal, and these people wait to see if I give them positive feedback before they give it to me...if they ever do give it to me. My feedback is 100% with 23 purchases, but I have actually had more than 40 transactions but since they like to play games with feedback, it doesn't reflect it. My wife just purchased something with my account and paid with PayPal immed., at that point, the seller should give me positive feedback, but no...they wait. I don't give feedback until our item arrives. Why is it these people when they get their money, won't give feedback. It's all up to them at that point. They wait to see if you are dissatisfied and leave them negative feedback then will take the opportunity to bash you. Once I have paid for an item...positive feedback should be left by the seller. Once I receive the item in good condition, then I leave positive feedback for the person I purchased it from. Small issue but has been making me angry. Lately when I do receive it, and leave positive feedback, they still don't leave me my feedback!! From now on when I pay for something...no feedback gets left until they give it to me for paying for the item.
texastrophies
Re: My frustration with Ebay members.. I hear you and agree with you. I see the same thing from the other side. I have been selling items quite abit lately and always leave positive feedback as soon as the item is paid for. I would venture to say that almost half of the buyers have not left any feedback. hutchies
Re: My frustration with Ebay members.. Yep I agree. I bought a front bumper for my quad. The guy took forever and was not shipping it so I gave him a bad rating. Bumper showed up a month later after 50 phone calls and talking to better business bureau. I still have negative feedback from that idiot and I paid 3 minutes after sale was over and gave him all info to get ahold of me and my address. Ohiobucks
Re: My frustration with Ebay members.. I actually think it is better for all parties to wait to give feedback on a transaction. Wait until the transaction is completely done and everyone is happy before leaving feedback. I see nothing wrong with waiting to leave feedback, or not leaving feedback at all. EBay doesn't require feedback be left after a transaction. I say no biggie. Now if things go bad, items are not received, etc. that is when I would get a little upset. Luckily I have not had a negative experience with EBay, I hope it stays that way.
Reloader
Re: My frustration with Ebay members.. I do very limmited transactions on E-bay. However the feedback is relatively important even though it is not mandatory. In theory it tells other people on ebay how honest or trustworthy you are. However it is very true that with the way people use it now it isn't that anymore. I only buy items that are from reputable companies. That way if it is broken or missing pieces, the company takes care of it. I bought all my RCBS reloading gear online and when it arrived missing some of the automatic priming pieces, I wrote an email to RCBS and had a whole new priming arm in about a week. This way if anyone give me a negative I can at least hear my side of the story. Here is what I did: IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE TRY CONTACTING US SO IT CAN BE TAKEN CARE OF! AdvantageTimberLou
Re: My frustration with Ebay members.. My wife does some selling on their and buying. Not me, I don't like having to sit by the PC waiting to get outbid on something. Never knew what pay pal was until she told me. I guess I am old fashion, money order or cash in an envelope for my deals! Plus if I have something to sell its mostly a hunting related item and I rather place it on here and sell it to someone on here that could use it and appreciate it. Guest Finn
Re: My frustration with Ebay members.. I use Ebay quite abit and always look for negative replies and then responses. Most are great sellers, but like anything, some are deadbeats and don't leave feedback. We've only had 1 peeing contest and that was between my wife and some other lady...otherwise, about 500 good transactions. Like said above, you can always respond to bad feedback.
