johnf
Someone told me that they've had up to a 30 second delay with Pyrodex RS and 10 with 777. I've never had one more than 1/2 a second or so. I would think to have a delay like that you would have to have some significant moisture in the barell or nipple. tedicast
Re: Delays with Pyrodex or 777 I had delay problems with 777 pellets, but it wasn't the pellets fault, it was definately the gun I was shooting. I have absolutely no delay problems since I switched to the Encore.
wtnhunt
Re: Delays with Pyrodex or 777 Used to have some bad delays with my old sidelock. Thats was part of the reason for switching over to the inline. Never have any delays with my black diamond.
AJ
Re: Delays with Pyrodex or 777 I have never seen a 30 second hang fire. I have seen a 1.5-2 second hangfire but thats it. That was using Pyrodex in a flint lock, which its not designed for anyhow.
