Big Moss's Sask. Adventure

Bigmoss is out from Quebec hunting whitetails this week with me and he had quite a day today. Start of this morning we circled ahead of two good bucks out in some slash-the 140 class came out first and I was giving him the finger squeeze single-he kept shaking me off as a bigger buck was rubbing in the bush just out of my sight-a doe busted us and Big moss missed him when he stopped for a second furthur off. I had some stuff to do so Robert(BigMoss) went out to a honeyhole where we'd saw a half dozen good bucks that morning. About 5'30 I got the call-he'd crawled up on a whopper 7x7 and knocked him flat-the buck was kicking and trying to get up but Robert thought he was down for the count. Finally the buck lurched up on it's feet and walked off with it's flag up-this deer is 170 plus. I'm guessing he creased him or hit a horn-I've never seen a wounded buck leave with his tail up so don't think he was mortally wounded. Anyway BigMoss is a good guy because he's been getting teased pretty unmercifully here tonight but is able to laugh it off. I'm predicting he'll tag some good bone tomorrow.
