Missed Oppurtunity.

I went hunting this morning. Got into the stand a little later than I wated to. I got there at 6:30am.... I was hunting a ridge that funnels into a bottom where a lot of akerns are still falling. At 8:30 a lone doe and two small spikes came walking my way. Knowing there is a good buck on this ridge, I pass on the bucks. I hold out for the doe. I pull back my PSE Fitzgerald and get ready to let it fly, when all of a sudden a tree about 100 yards fell down crashing. This made the deer go nuts, All three of the deer took off back up the ridge and into the thicket. A Missed Oppurtunity.

Won't be able to go back out tonight, but Saturday will be hunting in the river bottoms where my uncles farm at.

Have a good day!
