Master_Chief
I like a bag target. It doesn't go in far and is easy to remove.
jerdanmagic
Re: best targets The BLOCK is a great target. I also have several McKinsey targets which I love! There are so many on the market, that its really just up to you and how much money you want to throw down
Guest chrispy
Re: best targets BLOCK 4x4, you can't go wrong, 4 sides to shoot at, and you can shoot whatever, field points, fixed and mechanical broadheads. i absolutely love mine

LifeNRA
Re: best targets [ QUOTE ] The Block. Any target made by FieldLogic will be a good choice. [/ QUOTE ] FOR FIELD TIPS ONLY! Its an awesome target, and I will be buying another one! Dont know about the new 4x4 one though. But the regular one do not use broadheads into it! It shreads up bad! I know I have one! Not that many shots were put into this with broadheads either!
Guest Dawg93
Re: best targets If you've got a place for a pseudo permanent target....Morrells target range is hard to beat. I've had mine 2 years...200-300 shots...no pass through. Pricey, but worth it. My 2 cents.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Re: best targets for field tips i like the block...we (couple cousins and me put some $$ together) bought one last fall and have got together and shot almost every weekend for at least 3 hours each time and we have yet to get a pass through on it....i am interested in the new block 4x4...would like to give that one a try
Hillbilly
Re: best targets Yellow Jacket is my favorite target. They cost a little lower than the block, and I really like the broadhead target.
Guest chrispy
Re: best targets i have the BLOCK 4x4 and have shot a lot of broadheads into it and its still in great shape. my buddy has a black hole target and he shoots the switchback. its a new target and he has pass throughs out to 30 yards, the blackhole isn't worth it in my opinion, he gave his target away. he shot at my 4x4 and hasn't even been close to fletching touching the target. get the 4x4, portable, and works great for all your shooting needs! MrWiggely
Re: best targets I have the morel yellow jacket and it is awesome. But it can be tough to pull out your arrows. The one I have is for broad heads. My broadheads pull out nice but the target tips can be a pain. Wigs
Chrud
Re: best targets [ QUOTE ] But the regular one do not use broadheads into it! It shreads up bad! [/ QUOTE ] Your picture looks like a lot of your shots are in the middle of the target. That is why it is torn up. I have the Pro Model, it is about 440+ square inches and I use all of them. Rarely do I shoot at the dots with broadheads, I put stickers all along the sides and anywhere else I can put them. I try not to shoot at the same spot over and over and mine hasn't shred near as bad as yours has. Tiny slivers of foam come out, but nothing big like yours. I also use practice blades or super dull hunting blades and that seems to help reduce shredding also. The first Block I had looked like yours, but then I started doing the things I just talked about and it has helped the target's life with broadheads a ton. I've got probably 1000 broadhead shots into one this year and it still looks pretty new. The 4X4 will be my next target. It is constructed identically to the midsecton on my GlenDel Full Rut. I've been super impressed with how it handels broadheads.
