i have heard that once a buck substains an injury to his rack, there is a good chance that every rack he grows from this point foward will still carry a resemblance to his originally injured rack

Thanks guys...I have several full body photos of that same deer and he has no apparent bodily injury. I think,like most of you, that it was an injury to only the antler during growth.

I probably won't see him anyway, but if I do, I'll hold off for a bigger deer.

Most every photo I have is after dark. Almost all our deer went nocturnal early in the season.

There is so much farmer activity going on here that most of the deer stay nocturnal most of the time.

We are only able to take out the ones with really low IQ's.
