Re: Carbon arrows???

I am currently using Easton C2's with 125 grain Crimson Talons.

You need to tune your bow for your broadheads, you can try mechanicals and it might help your arrow flight some but tuning will help alot.

If you do a search on the internet you can find some instructions on tuning your arrows with broadheads. Good luck!!

what kinda broadheads do you use the ones i tried made my arrow go funny....or do you have to tune them? im not hunting with them this year becasue i cant find a broadhead that works with them. so for now im stiking with my aluinum arrows.

Usually a fixed blade BH needs some tunning to fly like your fieldtips,,unless you get lucky, which by your post you aren't....

If you are haveing trouble with fixed blades,,,try a mechanical BH, they have come along way, and will get the job done for ya... wink.gif

I use the NAP Spitfires, or the GrimReaper RazorTips in 100grn.

Good luck I hope you find something that works for ya.... cool.gifwink.gif

Re: Carbon arrows???

I shoot Easton ACC 3/71 with Muzzy 100 grain.

Here are a few questions I would ask:

Can you get good groups with field points?

Are your carbon arrows spined correctly for your bow?

Have you checked the inserts? If they are misaligned, it'll make broadheads fly everywhere.

Good luck.
