hatetomiss Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 my wife shot a buck tonight ,light rain we waited about an hour she said it looked like a good shot we found very little blood and then we jumped a buck and he took off like a jet do you think we can find him. With the rain, sounds like your only option is going to be some serious grid searching. Might be a good idea to to get some friends to help. robk Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 Re: what are the chances leave him til morning and then go try to find the deer. light rain doesn't always get rid of the blood but it will definatley make it harder. what i would do is if it went down a known path then work your way down the path or paths and see ifyou can grid him out that way. if the shot and she is positive of the hit then you should be able to find him. if that wa shim you jumped then your probably going to have to be real patient when tracking or working him like a grid hunt rob k Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
