kooter
I think a light rain is ok. Also right after the heavier rains is a good time to be out. Remember you can't kill them if your not out in the woods. good luck
Tominator
Re: raining deer Normally I see deer in the rain. Out of the 4 weekends of hunting on Saturday, 2 of them have been rainy. In those 8 hours or so of sitting in the rain I've seen only 1 deer from the stand.
PAbowhunter86
Re: raining deer Before a heavy rain or storm and right after is the best time to hunt I think. The deer are getting something to eat before and after. But if it is just a let rain like a mist, or if it is snowing it wouldnt be all that bad. 6sixpoint_nobrows
Re: raining deer GO!!! i love hunting in the rain, i do the best either when its pouring or just stopped pouring.....its well worth it, my camo is water proof though, bet prime example, last weekend it rained sunday here in Il. in the evening got in my stand and the deer movement was great because they were held up all day in the mourning because it was really pouring then, they really hit the fields looking for a bit to eat...so i say go out there and get in the stand and be ready, they walk up to you without you even knowing there coming...good luck!
