Guest Xen Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 well, it was a great morning on sunday, about 7:30 i spotted a doe coming over the mountain about 400 yards away. braced on a tree and got ready, just in case. 3 more does came over and kept looking behind them. they didn't seem spooked, so i was hoping they were looking for their buck. sure enough, as he crested the ridge i could see antlers. took aim and fired. he didn't move an inch from where i hit him. 7mm mag with federal vital-shok ammunition (nosler partition bullets), punched through the deer and dropped him dead in his tracks.
