ladydiehard Posted October 26, 2005 Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 Here I am at work...just came back from lunch, parked my SUV and looked up as I was getting out. And there stands a deer. 50 yards, across the street. Huge doe. I head into the building, look back as I was closing the door and there she stands. I run upstairs and tell the guys...one being a fellow hunter and the others just curious. Neither of us bowhunters have our bows with us. 50 yards is too far for me but due to the denseness of some of the bushes in the area where this doe is...it would be easy to sneak within range. Co-worker and fellow bow hunter is kicking himself for not having his bow along. Although we are in the city limits, we are in an industrial park that allows bow hunting. I am not able to pull my bow back due to back surgery but that doesn't stop the deer coming within bow range of my deck. Every day they come walking by, 3 and 4 at a time. It sounds funny to talk about hunting in city limits,but If I lived in a heavily pop. area and thats where the deer were I guess thats where Id be.
