VTbowman
I have a Bamboo backed Yew long bow that has the name "Bobcat Bow" on it. Also a very nice bobcats head icon. There is also the name "Terry Riley" next to the stats. 64" 57#@25.5" Its never been in the woods or poor weather and is in mint condition. Fur silencers, leather grip, seal skin shelf and plate, and looks like a fast flight string (pretty thin) but the string is not brand new. Also including a bow sock with it. Asking $200 O.B.O. Please PM me if interested. Thanks for looking...

BowtechTurkeyHunter
Re: BamBoo backed Yew 64\" [email protected]\" Wow too bad the draw length was a touch longer that would be the ticket for me need at least 28 though this is a heck of a deal folks. trust me I have been looking and have a custom bow being made ATM and I couldnt even touch the price with what I am paying for it. VTbowman
Re: BamBoo backed Yew 64\" [email protected]\" Yea that shrter draw length is making it a tough sell. Its right at mine so it worked for me. BUT I need the $$$ for other things and I dont shoot it much.
buckee
Re: BamBoo backed Yew 64\" [email protected]\" How do you change the draw length on a long-bow ?? I don't know anything about them. Do they have a wall that is reached when drawing back, similar to a compound??
VTbowman
Re: BamBoo backed Yew 64\" [email protected]\" No it is set at what it was made at. You can change the brace height by twisting or untwisting the string to tune the bow for vibration but you can not change the draw length. Also there is no "wall" you hit at a specific draw. You could keep pulling it back until it eventually breaks. With custom bows, and bow like this one, it is HIGHLY suggested not to go past any draw length the bowyer has set as a limit. You could possible go past by 1 inch but even thats not recommended.
buckee
Re: BamBoo backed Yew 64\" [email protected]\" That is something I never knew Shawn...thanks I figured you just put a certain length string for your draw length and your good to go with those bows. Learn something new every day.
