Re: Carbon Arrows ??

I shoot beaman 380-16 carbons. Great arrows .003 for straightness as well. If you buy your arrows through a good bow shop they will show you how straight the arrows are as well on the tester. That is why i bought these. They are tough as well. have shot 3 deer with the same arrow and still straight.

Gold Tips--tough arrow and AMERICAN made!

Actually, some will soon be made in Mexico. frown.gif

Gold Tip Pro Hunters for me. +/-0.001" and +/-0.5 grains. Better than any other hunting carbon arrow on the market. That means a lot better flight. cool.gifwink.gif Plus, at only about $70 for a dozen of bare shafts, they are a lot (and I'm talking $30 to $40 at the very least) cheaper than any carbon arrow with those tolerances. And, they are cheaper or the same price as other carbon arrows with much lesser tolerances. wink.gif

Re: Carbon Arrows ??

I am hunting on a budget all the time. The only thing that I spent a ton of money on was the bow.

Knowing that I was on a limited budget I decided to look around for a good carbon arrow that was resonably priced. I found the Cabela's Carbon Hunter arrows to be the best bang for the buck. A dozen cut with inserts installed for $40 is a good deal in my book. They have turning nocks and are .006 straightness. I have killed 2 deer with them and they group really well for me.

I don't think I would buy ACC's or ICS arrows even if I could afford them just because what I have now works good for me.
