When I shot it I thought it was a doe, if I knew it was a button buck I woulda let him pass... However, I'm happy with the meat! Sorry I have no pics. We ate some of the backstraps from the big buck I shot yesterday, this morning, and I feel like he was kinda old cus the backstraps where kinda tough but still GOOD EATING!!!!!!!! But plenty of hunters make the mistake of shooting a button thinking it is a doe. It's happened to me and probably everyone in here. Enjoy that bar-b-q backstrap!
