popgun
I have a Kawasaki Mule myself and really like it. It has done everything I have asked it to do so far. I have seen the commercials and demo's on TV about the electric 4 wheelers and they sound interesting...but not interesting enough to trade my Mule. I would think the batteries would last about the same as a golf cart and that you probably could get service at a place that either sells the golf carts or the electric 4 wheelers. I also have no experience with golf carts and do not play golf. I just can't see any reason to chase something around all day in a big field, hitting it multiple times, and can't cook and eat it when I get home. ....popgun
Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Electric ATV? My golf cart will go at least 15 miles over smooth terrain on a single charge. It uses 6 6v deep cycle batteries. If you wanted to extend the range, solar panels could be added to the roof for "in the field" charging. preacherman
Re: Electric ATV? I bought a Honda Foreman 4x4 and would do it all over again if I had to. I have ridden in golf carts that are battery operated enough to know that over time, you will become frustrated because the charge will not stay up as long as you want it to. I know gas is a little more expensive now a days, but to me, in my own opinion, it is worth it to pay the little extra for a gas burner.
