Hoyt03
I Just got back from out of town and missed the opener, anyone have any luck here in PA on turkeys?
snapper
Re: Anyone from PA seeing any birds I opted to take the bow out for a doe yesterday...seen and heard a ton of turkey's. Yelpin', cuttin', gobblin', kee keein'...almost felt like spring time. I tried a little calling...but was up in a stand with a bow so figured I didn't have alot of hope getting one in close enough to draw and shoot. LifeNRA
Re: Anyone from PA seeing any birds I have been seeing them for the last two outings, last week about 20 birds. All doing what snapper said too! This past weekend my father got a hen. We had supper over at their house tonight, guess what was for dinner! LOL! First time I ever had wild turkey, it was good too!!!
JPGS22
Re: Anyone from PA seeing any birds I've been seeing birds all over the place were I hunt. Good thing is it's a friends farm and no one hunts turkeys there! Two weeks ago I saw about 50 birds in one field. Too bad I had to work opening day. But I'm going out tuesday. Hoyt03
Re: Anyone from PA seeing any birds sounds like they are around. The 2 closest WMU's to me have closed fall seasons due to lack of birds, so to get a fall bird I have to travel to other areas that i dont know too well. Might try next week
Strut10
Re: Anyone from PA seeing any birds No. My dad, brother and wife's uncle covered the Strut10 Ranch and more on Saturday........to the tune of about 500 acres........and saw ZERO turkey sign. My wife's uncle is retired and in the woods all the time. He hasn't seen any turkey sign since archery came in 4 weeks ago. I give up. THink I'll hunt in the morning, I'm worn out.

007hunter
Re: Anyone from PA seeing any birds Havn't seem any since turkey started. Before turkey season I would see a flock everytime I was out in archery...
