into more work!!! We headed out to the lease to do some last minute chores - fill feeders, clean out some box blinds (full of wasp and black widow spiders) and put out my new digital game trail camera.

As soon as we pull thru the gate I see a big ol sow standing right in the road, not 20 yds from me. I didn't bring my rifle cause I had no intention of shooting anything with deer season starting this coming weekend. Well I grabbed my pistol and cut loose on her. I managed to make her run like crazy but that was it. I start to head towards one of the blinds and I hear BOOOOM...........WHOP...........BOOOOM..........WHOP.........BOOOOOM.............WHOP. My two buddies behind me that had brought their rifles in case we ran into hogs found the rest of the hogs making their way around the tank dam. They ended up getting 1 nice sow and 1 smaller stinkin boar. We load them up and take off to get our work done. Everything is done, except cleaning out my box blind. As we head that way, I spot another group of hogs out in an open field. We hurry and cut them off and one of my buddies nails a big boar. The rest of the group turns tail and heads back across the open field. We take off after them and cut them off once more. This time my buddy lets me shoot his rifle and I end up taking 1 real nice fat (225 lbs) and another smaller sow. By the time we got them loaded and over to my blind it was almost dark. I managed to get it cleaned out and we headed home.

Here is a picture of the 2nd group of hogs before my buddy cuts loose on them.
