10acboy
Re: Guys, Please work your magic! Ryan - I hate to hear that buddy. I know that it's gotta suck, but I have never heard of a company doing that to someone. Mistakes happen and you were honest enough to approach them. Unbelieveable - hopefully you bounce right back from this. I know that this won't make you feel any better, but remember - everything happens for a reason even if we don't understand why. Evidentally someone has bigger and better plans for you.
vagobbln
Re: Guys, Please work your magic! Kinda new here but I feel your pain. My best friend had the exact same thing happen to him over a $22 oil change. He had 23 years in the company and had been a loyal employee the whole time. Sounds like somebody was just looking for an excuse to cut back - it stinks. My buddy landed with both feet on the ground and I'm sure you will too. Best of luck. Gator
Re: Guys, Please work your magic! Man ryan, that stinks!! HarvDog
Re: Guys, Please work your magic! Sorry to hear about that bud! You definitely did the right thing. It's unfortunate that things happened like that though. I'll be praying. This could just be a blessing in disguise. It was for me when my previous company was acquired last year. Keep your head up my friend.

dogdoc
Re: Guys, Please work your magic! look on the positive side--if you're going to lose your job this is a great time of the year to be drawing unemployment--DEER SEASON! In all seriousness--I'm really sorry that happened. I can see your boss being a little suspicious if you were a brand new employee but with your employee history it just doesn't make any sense I bet everything will turn out for the best and I wish you good luck finding a new job. Take my advise--go spend some time in the deer stand todd

WaCoyote
Re: Guys, Please work your magic! Hey, I can promise you this, You'll be fine. I was managing a pretty good sized outfit out here for a number of years. The owner called me at home on a wednesday evening to let me know that he had just sold and that I was basically jobless. I started my own company and now I make more than I did then, I hunt when I want, and I havent missed ONE of my girls softball games. Your young yet, you'll be fine. Come on up here! I'll take you pheasant hunting!
