bowhunt101
dual exhaust???? Any of you fellas got true dual exhaust on your trucks???? I want it on my truck but it would sound like crap on a 4banger so its a no go.... Wanna get me a v8to run duals on so she will sound really good.... I do know a boy that has true duals on his 4cyl ford ranger and he got 1" pipes so his dont sound so bad, it is more muffled than loud know what I mean???? If I ran them out the side it would probobly sound better than that to so when I get a dependable truck that dont take like 15-30minutes just to defrost the windshield it is a possibility for me........ VermontHunter
Re: Off topic but what about........ I run a true Magnaflo Excelerator dual exhaust on my S-10 4.3 Vortec,,, which uses 3" stainless pipes..... ,,, she bellors great... Honestly, I wouldn't waste the money or time on dual exhaust for a 4 cylinder...JMO Here's what she looks like....
maytom
Re: Off topic but what about........ I drive a Ford Ranger with the 4.0L V-6. I went with a stainless Magnaflow SI/SO Cat back exhaust system on my truck. Sounds great!! Check out the link below for pricing. http://www.hottexhaust.com/Index2.htm
Guest bigbuckmiddaugh
Re: Off topic but what about........ Its hard to run a True dual exhaust on new vehicles, becuase of the O2 sensors and cat's. You can do it but its costly. Usely people cut off from the cat back and dual it out. Helps it out a little, but not a true dual exhaust. mike
HarvDog
Re: Off topic but what about........ I still have the factory exhaust on my Ram but I am considering Magnaflow or Flowmaster single in/dual out. Haven't decided for sure yet though. snapper
Re: Off topic but what about........ Can't bring myself to cutoff a perfectly good stock stainless exhaust. Guess I'll have to wait til its junk before I consider any kind of upgrades on the exhaust.

I don't understand upgrading stereos in cars either, factory radios are pretty nice but there always is the guy who has to take it out and put in his with his amp and speakers. Their the ones you hear about a mile away before you see them...thump....thumP....thuMP....thUMP....tHUMP....THUMP!!
hutchies
Re: Off topic but what about........ I have a flowmaster on my truck and 2 10inch subs in the back. My truck is well insulated so the only thumping you hear is inside.
bowhunt101
Re: Off topic but what about........ Honestly I wanna fix my truck up with true duals and everything with all terrain (maybe mud terrains but they dont last on the road) tires but cant afford it right now if Im wanting to get a new bow here directly.... Shaun_300
Re: Off topic but what about........ Not sure if I'd put it on a 4 cylinder or not. I wouldn't mind duals on my 88 Silverado. The 350 sounds good already, it would be crazy with duals!
bowhunt101
Re: Off topic but what about........ Yeah a 350 sounds down right awsome with duals (my grandad's truck has the 350motor in it).... I am gunna fix my 4cyl truck up but have decided not to put duals on it, it just aint worth the effort and money it takes to do it for a 4cyl and then it sounds like crap afterwards, sounds like a mad lawnmower.... I intend to put some Courser ATs on it though before to long and getting ready to build a wooden dog box to go in the back to.... But speaking of the base radios and stuff we installed a couple of sub woofers in my buddy Chad's S-10 this morning and I aint into the base to much but I gotta admit after the work we did to it it was satisfying when we heard what they would do for the radio know what I mean???? We made boxes for them and everything out of plyboard and then installed the woofers in them, not much to it but it was still perty cool, you fellas takemeasy and have a good hunting season....-tim
