Strut10
Actually, I got it back a couple weeks ago. It just took me this long to get a pic up. I got this rifle back in the early spring. It's a Model 70 Classic S/S in 7mm STW. I got a Weaver Grand Slam 6-20 scope, some new brass and a set of RCBS dies rounded up over the summer. The smith pillar bedded the action, floated the barrel and set the trigger at 40 oz. I just went and bought a pound of IMR 7828 powder, today. I'm just itchin to shoot this dude!!!!!! AJ
Re: Newest toy back from the smith\'s!! Sweet! How about some more specs? What barrel did you go with? What barrel length? What barrel taper? Did you have the 'smith custom throat it to your ammo?
Strut10
Re: Newest toy back from the smith\'s!! AJ......... It's just the plain, old factory Winchester 26" barrel with the "buggy whip" taper. No custom throat or anything.
